MembershipMembership packages:

We offer various packages, depending on your circumstances.

How to join:

Simply go to http://www.all-languages.org.uk/join.

Once you have joined us and your membership has been processed, we will send you a welcome pack, with your membership number and everything else you need to know. You will then receive the next mailing in either January, May or September, depending on when you joined.

Individual memberships:

Group memberships:

Group contacts: As a group contact, we would be grateful if you could:

  • Send us a list of email addresses for the staff who would like to subscribe to ALLNet, our e-bulletin,
  • Keep us informed of changes of staff, contact details or email addresses, and
  • Ensure that the publications that we send are accessible to everyone in your group.

Group members: group memberships of ALL are coordinated through named contacts in each institution. If you would like to receive our ALLNet e-newsletter, or see copies of our publications, please speak to your named contact in the first instance. If you are not sure who your named contact is, please e-mail info@all-languages.org.uk or call 0116 229 7600.

 

How to renew:

If you pay by direct debit, you need do nothing. You will simply continue to receive your mailings as normal.
If you pay by another method, you should receive regular reminders and / or an invoice, to prompt you to renew your subscription. To do this, you simply go to http://www.all-languages.org.uk/join/membership_renewal.

Upon renewal of your membership for another year, you will receive confirmation of your renewal by email. The first mailing you will receive following your renewal will be in May, September or January, depending on your renewal date.

 

How to change your personal details:

Simply click here and complete the form.

 

Member-get-member scheme:

  1. Send us the name and email address of your interested colleague (be sure to ask their permission first!)
  2. We’ll confirm their nomination by email, with a link to our website where they can join.
  3. If they become a member, you receive a £5 book token and an entry into our prize draw for a free one-day place at Language World!

(NB: this offer does not apply to Student Associate members)

When do the mailings come out?

Mailings are sent out three times a year, at the start of each term: January, May and September.

  • January mailings, for those who have opted for these publications, contain: Languages Today magazine and the Language Learning Journal.
  • May mailings, for those who have opted for these publications, contain: Languages Today magazine, Francophonie, Deutsch Lehren und Lernen, Vida Hispanica and the Language Learning Journal.
  • September mailings, for those who have opted for these publications, contain: Languages Today magazine , Francophonie, Deutsch Lehren und Lernen, Vida Hispanica, Tuttitalia, Rusistika and the Language Learning Journal.

What do I do if I don’t get my mailing?

How do I find out my membership number?

This is in the letter you received in your welcome pack. Alternatively, please e-mail info@all-languages.org.uk or call 0116 229 7600.

How to unsubscribe from ALLNet messages:

Go to www.jiscmail.ac.uk/allnet and choose the ‘Unsubscribe' link from that page.
OR
Send the following in an e-mail to listserv@jiscmail.ac.uk:
“unsubscribe allnet your first name your last name” (e.g. unsubscribe allnet alan smith).
